Edric Ray is one of the most charismatic entertainers to hit the recent entertainment scene. If everything really is bigger in Texas, then they don't get any bigger than the hopes, dreams and sincerity that come within the heart of this performer.
 

Edric Ray began his entertainment career singing back in the mid 90's. He began songwriting in high school and eventually taught himself to sing and play the guitar. His first published song came about in 1995, when Texas recording artist Mark Alan Sammons, recorded a song Edric Ray co-wrote entitled "Good As Gold". This song would earn the honor of being the title track to Sammons' debut album. Edric Ray would go on to include his version of the song in his live show.

Edric Ray performed in many of the Southern states to include places like Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Nevada, and Tennessee.

Known for his great, high energy, live shows, Edric Ray has had much success with his music everywhere he performed. Edric Ray has
performed both on television and radio and continues to deliver an awesome product.

One of Edric Ray's career highlights include a performance at the
Original Grand Ole Opry at the historical Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

He has crossed paths and shared the stage with many fellow performers like ACM Award winning group
Ricochet and country music legends like Juice Newton. Edric Ray has had the honor of being of the company of many other fellow artists like Rhett Akins, Rick Trevino, Billy Dean, Darryl Worley, Michael Peterson, Sherrie' Austin and Lila McCann, just to name a handfuL.​​

 

Edric Ray has even performed with members of George Strait's "Ace In The Hole" band.

Edric Ray would also be asked to join as lead singer for the American Made Modern Rock Band - "Outbreak". Edric Ray, under the moniker "E.R." would go on to perform with Outbreak and open up for many National acts such as LIVE and Drowning Pool.

Acting, however, has always been in the humble but hungry blood within Edric Ray. Edric did a little acting in high school but wouldn't delve completely into the world of acting til he graduated.

 

Edric Ray first started acting in the theater.  His first role on stage was as the Lead in Neil Simon's  "Fools" as "Leon Tolchinsky". Edric Ray was up to the challenge and impressed directors and audiences alike as a natural. He would go on to play many leading and supporting  roles such as "Pippin" in "Pippin", "Motel" in "Fiddler on The Roof", "Will" in "Oklahoma!", and more recently "Danny" in "Grease".

Edric Ray has since starred in several feature films to include "CITY OF CROSSES", "EL SUENO" , "LOST PADRE MINE", ""THE LOW-LIFES" to name a few. He has also been in several commercials to inlcude a national spot for Polaris as well as voice over work on two commercials. He has also been in several shorts to include the highly well received short film, "EYE ON THE PRIZE"

 

Edric Ray has also worked in television. He was worked with several major networks to include NBC, ABC, WGN, A&E, The Travel Channel, Investigation DiscoverY and Netflix on shows like "Dead of Night", "Manhattan", "Killer Women", "Monumental Mysteries", & "Longmire", 


Being the proud father of his little girl, Trystan Rayne Sienna, Edric Ray has an undying desire and dedication to continue to succeed.

With a natural knack for versatile acting, a solid voice, a big heart, and a soul full of sincerity and passion, Edric Ray proves that things really are bigger in Texas!
